Mike Hardage, Tom Lafferty, and Ajai Sharma founded Royal Point Equity to capitalize on their individual experience and diverse strengths developed during their combined 60 years of commercial real estate investing experience—30 years of which have involved multifamily projects. The principles have invested in 108 multifamily properties in 8 different states, representing total assets of 22,344 units valued at over 2.36 billion dollars.  Sixteen of these properties have gone full cycle, resulting in significant investor returns.

Mike Hardage coordinates property acquisitions/dispositions, debt sourcing, underwriting, investor relations, and portfolio management.  Mike is a seasoned real estate professional, with 39 years of experience in numerous real estate asset classes.  For the past 9 years, his focus has been exclusively on multifamily, having been invested in or been a general partner in $2.2 billion in multifamily properties in 6 sunbelt states.  Mike is also a licensed real estate multifamily buyer agent and has represented buyers for $1.1 billion in multifamily acquisitions. 
 
Mike graduated from Rice University with BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering/ biomedical engineering.  Mike spent most of his career as an entrepreneur helping start several implantable medical devices companies.  He holds patents in that field, has written medical journal papers and textbook chapters and delivered oral presentations to medical and engineering congresses.
